Should I JB weld or put some other epoxy glue for bottom bracket?
Post Body

Hey guys and gals I been rebuilding a bike and the frame I have is a vintage peugeot. The issue with the frame is the previous owner tried to re-thread the bottom bracket to an english thread but that slightly deformed the shell to bigger size and it also stripped the inside a bit.

I was thinking buy a shimano bottom bracket 68 x 113 and put some jb weld and glue the bottom bracket so it can "fit." I know it sounds untraditional and it may make some bike enthusiast cringe but do any of you guys think it will work if not what's the next best thing I can do?
