Seatpost having a hard time moving

I’m using a 31.8 to 30.6mm sleeve, and the seatpost is having a hard time moving vertically even when fully untightened. I’m sure it’s the right size because laterally it’s having no issues, but as soon as I have to get it up or down It becomes a difficult job
