I volunteer at a local bicycle co-op and I don't do a lot of the maintenance. Just help with the people and organization of the shop. No one puts away their tools... But we go through a lot of waste, rubber included. I've got a solution for most of the waste, turning it into new things like belts (being the current project) and other things like jewelry. I've just got a problem with processing the chains.
I need to take apart chains by the link and I don't really know which chain breaker might be best for that. I'm curious if there are possible table mount ones? Or maybe a press is needed? I'm curious what options you may think would work best for frequent and constant chain breaks?
Also what's the little nub end called that bends and needs replaced?
