So long story short, a friend of mine borrowed my older Trek Marlin recently and lets say his strength isn't your average torque settings. As it hadn't been used for a while, I advised him to give it a once over for anything loose, tyre pressures etc...
It would appear he just tightened anything he could, which has meant he has stripped half the brake rota holes in both wheel hubs.
So as this is my second bike, which doesn't get much use, just when I'm using it for a local leisure ride, I don't want to go down the road of a new decent wheelset of it and was looking at the options of swapping the hubs out from some old wheels in the garage I have kicking about.
So the question is would the Hope Pro 2 hubs be a straight swap for the now trashed Formula DC20/22 hubs, or am I heading in to the world of new spokes etc as well.
