Preparing for rain while backpacking
Post Body

I recently completed a 4-day, 3-night trip completing the GAP Trail. It was great!

We encountered some rain at night or during the day, but we never did have to pack up during the rain. The way I pack I don't have a dedicated bag for my tent. I break it apart with my poles in the frame bag, my tent fly in my seat bag with my clothes and my tent stuffed on top of my sleep system on my handlebar bag. I started to worry that if I need to pack up in the rain, I would me in danger of getting both my sleep system and clothes wet from the tent.

What should I do differently next time?
