Hi all,
My holiday plans were torn apart over the weekend and I'm left with 2 weeks on my hands and not a huge amount to do. Fortunately a friend from Canada (who I met in Japan) is bikepacking from Norway to Berlin and asked me to join him either from Copenhagen to finish off the journey. As a London cyclist I thought why not, sounds adventurous.
I've found that I can rent a bike reasonably easily from Copenhagen to Berlin, so feels like that bit might not be so bad (but if anyone in Copenhagen is looking to sell their Bikepack bike that I can then sell in Berlin then that could also work).
From what I can tell I need some key things. Tent, sleeping bag, matt. And then ways to hold it all to the bike. If anyone here would be willing to let me borrow or rent their equipment from London (I live centrally and have a motorbike so can pick up from you and drop back off when I'm back the week of the 28th of August) then that would be incredible. If not but you have some really good advice on what to get, then that would be awesome.
I think I only need enough stuff to survive 10 or so days, my friend says he has enough on the cooking equipment side of things.
