I have big porteur rack, mid-size platform rack, small front rack (little panniers fit), handlebar bags, roll bag. [And various tiny to large saddle bags, rear racks, pannier sets].
Are there any advantages to having a big front rack with a large bag on it? Or the medium one with 2/3 the total load hung off it?
Reference: Bikes are Breezer Doppler (steel gravel), Salsa Marrakesh (touring, but I'd take it on moderate gravel in a heartbeat - it does fine on moderate single track if I walk jumps).
Last bigger bikepacking trip was on the Breezer with no racks, worked fine, but loading/unloading a bit tedious.
