This may technically not be a "bikepacking" topic, but I figure people here probably have more experience with this than the Edge roadie-specific computers, for instance.
I have a GPSMap 64 that I'm trying to figure out how to attach on my touring bike. Right now I have an adapter on it to convert to a quarter-turn mount, that I have directly on top of the stem - this works, but I think it's sticking too far up because my stem has a bit of a negative angle on it. I know that K-Edge makes an adjustable stem mount that is hinged, but it seems like my device is a chonk compared to the Edge units. Has anyone had experience mounting a handheld GPS like that?
Likewise, I know there are out-front mounts that could work, but I'm wondering if the unit itself is too long and would hit the bars.
