Bike routes near jp?

Hello! Relatively new resident to JP here. Are there any good bike routes relatively near JP? The SW corridor is fine but can be a bit crowded at times and I don't feel safe riding most streets here in Boston(grew up riding in very rural areas) Also, will take suggestions on biking groups to join as well.
