I'm from southern EU where there is good/pleasant weather most of the year, and I always bike to work. It has become my favorite way to commute: it's faster, I don't have to wait, it's fun, I can get to know the city better than in a bus or train. I didn't want to prescind from this.
However, everyone tells me I won't be able to do that in Boston, I can only bike half of the year. Is this true? Is there no way to have proper clothes and specs?
I think they downplay how much better bike is than other options so you put up with whatever, and how hot it can get on a bike. But please let me know if you can ride all year or not.
