I'm getting really fed up with these companies and their interview process for SEO roles.
Is it normal to require a full blown SEO audit as a task as part of a job application?
I've passed the first stage for an SEO manager role and they'd like me to do a presentation for the second stage which includes:
Technical analysis and optimisation tactics Content optimisation and strategy Internal and external link strategies
amongst other things (yes, there's more)
In the past I've done similar tasks to only not hear back from the company again and of course there's a chance of them using my work in their SEO.
