Transactional attorney confessions: I hate small deals

I hate them very much. The unsophisticated parties and opposing counsel. The fee pressure. The stupid messy clean up you have to do while everyone pretends the deal is simpler and cheaper because it’s small (even though they’re usually more complicated in the least sexy way possible.)
