How do you know if a recruiter is good?
Post Body

I am miserable at the firm I’m currently at. It’s been about 8 months now as a litigation associate here (I did a judicial clerkship before this so I’m technically a first year). I let a recruiter send my materials to some firms about two weeks ago and he just never responded when I followed up. Is it better for me to do the applications myself? I’m being treated like shit here and I’m worried this is a bad time to try to lateral but I’m losing my mind where I’m at. Is it better to stick it out until the new year? Thanks!

I’m in Minnesota if anyone has any suggestions!
