Does length make you appear big or girth?

Recently my friend showed me a pic of a dude’s dick that she had just received. She was sleeping with him and she said he was close to 8 inches and showed me a pic and while it looked “long” it was somewhat thin.

It made me feel less “envious” if that makes sense. I’m a little over 6x6 and i spent most of my younger years feeling small because of the constant claim from my peers that they were 8 inches.

I was looking at my own dick pics I’ve taken and I looked bigger compared to a dude who was 2 inches longer, it made me question how much of size is visually related to the width or girth of your dick vs just the length.
