Gay/bi BD problem with foreskin

I'm not sure if this is a BD problem or more of a sex problem but I figured I'd get some feedback here. I met this guy who wanted a bj. He was probably close to 8", fairly thick, uncut but is foreskin was tighter than any other guy that I've encountered before. He complained that pulling his foreskin back "hurt". Long story short he didn't get off because I couldn't figure out how to do it without causing him pain. Has any ever experienced this or have issues with tighter than usual foreskin? I'm circumcised so I have no idea what he was feeling.
