Are there boxer briefs that actually accommodates the package?

So despite being a grower, I still feel uncomfortable in underwear that say they have "big supportive pouches", especially if I get an erection. If just hurts with an erection.
I have only bought cotton underwear so I am wondering if that's my issue? Maybe there's better material that won't squish my erection as much/be softer? I have a 30 inch waist so I wear medium.
Any advice is welcome.
