Size measurements, perspective, and "girl inches"
Post Body

I was thinking through the conversations that comes up on here all the time, about how do you measure your size accurately, whether it’s BP or NBP, "girl inches", our own perspective when we're looking down, body dysmorphia, and so on

So I was making out with the girl the other day, and as she is feeling my arousal through my shorts, she didn’t say anything at the time, but then later she texted and asked if I knew how big I am, cause I felt "very very big".

So that made me think about the difference between my perspective and a girls perspective. Generally when they’re playing or giving a BJ (or trying to at least), and on their knees, they're below me, looking up at my cock. I've seen comments over the past year or so from the occasional bi- or homoosexual gentleman on here about looking at dick size from that same perspective, and it made me want to try to at least gather a little bit of empirical evidence.

I'm very familiar with the discussion about getting accurate measurements, about BP versus NBP, where to hold the ruler, make sure that you’re standing up, etc. etc. And I had the thought, “what if I put the ruler below myself", to measure what my partner's perspective might look like. To address the question "where do you stop measuring", I used my flexible cock ring that I put over my shaft and balls, up against my abdomen...

And low and behold, my 8" BP measurement turned into 9.5"-10", depending on where my ring was situated at.

Sure, my balls are in there, and it's not all insertable, but that's the same as most Dildos, right? And that's what my partner's visual perspective would be anyways, especially if I do have my ring on (gotta do something to keep my 13 oz of blood where it needs to be).

So to be accurate and all, I agree on using the "correct" measurement approach. For a girthy guy like me, that led me to finding and ordering the correct condoms from Europe, the My Size Pro 72s. But it's also not "wrong" necessarily if my partner sees me and then "accurately" guesstimates that I look like 9.5" .

Thoughts???
