So as I'm from England I have to wear a school uniform and for years my school has had the same old fashioned PE kits that are also mandatory. For outdoor sports it was poloshirts and indoor sports it was basically a thick white vest. Like a really old fashioned basketball or netball top.
The polo is pretty bad itself, and I can get away with wearing a Small boys one, but the vest was a nightmare. The only way I could get one that would fit comfortably over my bust was to buy a medium sized boys vest. But because I'm slim and also a short arse, it just hangs off my boobs and goes to my mid thigh and I look ridic. It's horrible. It also offers no support and because it's only at the chest wear it fits, the shoulders are constantly falling down and the neckline is low.
But they just announced this morning that as of next term we'll be getting a new PE kit! It's one kit for indoors and outdoors and it's more like a classic rugby or football shirt. I haven't tried one on yet, but they're coming in WAY WAY more sizes too, as all they used to do was boys/girls S/M/L. These ones are going to have proper, actual, clothes sizes!
I'm not the only one that's happy either, because I have a few friends who are also quite busty, some quite tall and naturally broad, and a few who are plus sized etc and now we can all finally have PE kits that fit us.
Of they didn't put us all in unisex/boys clothes, it's just that we had to argue to let them let us buy boys tops for PE, because the girls ones wouldn't fit over my boobs. I feel like whoever designed the cut for the girls tops must have had really small boobs or assumed no girl between 11 and 16 has boobs at least.
And things like pants, cuffs, skirts etc we could hem, but the PE kit had a design, so if I hemmed it I'd have had to cut off a whole stripe and I assume they wouldn't like that.
Luckily I come from a line of busty women. My mum has huge boobs, as does my sister and we all started developing early (I was 9 when I started puberty). So my measurements have always been good. Even before I understood it myself, my Mum made sure I was fitted well and we've at least benefited from saving some of my sisters old bras from when she was my ages.
OMG, I've struggled so much to get decent bras because I was around a 26-28 band. I can't imagine the struggle you'd have had getting fuller cup sizes on such smaller bands.

The school uniforms here in England tend to be paid for by us and are ours to keep and wash etc. That said, my school is super strict on the dress code, so I never tried to do anything to take the in etc. It was hard enough letting them sell us boys clothes for me to wear.
