They should’ve done these things in the final season.

1. Let Raj actually find love. After all the years of not being able to talk to women and for being emotionally immature, it would’ve been nice for him to finally find what his friends had found. I mean they let Stuart find love, why not Raj?

2. Have Howard surprise everybody (except Bernadette of course) with his doctorate. They could’ve had it be where he was sneaking around and Bernadette thought he was cheating, but he was actually studying.

He tells her that he wanted to achieve what his friends had achieved and then he reveals that he found a letter from his mother where she states it only to be read in the case of her death (he didn’t find it until he was cleaning out the garage and it was in her old stuff).

In the letter she states that she’s sorry for teasing him about not being a doctor and that she’s always been proud of him, and that it doesn’t matter if he’s not a doctor just as long as he’s happy. She says that she hopes that they have children because having kids is the greatest experience in the world and that she doesn’t want them to miss out on it (Howard saying this to the gang and it resonates with Leonard and Penny).

1. Have us finally see who Howard’s father is. We find out that the story that penny told in the episode “the closet configuration” was the one that was true! We learn That he used to work for the US Air Force and that he had been working at a top secret facility but had left, (maybe ethical reasons? I don’t know 🤷🏻‍♂️) and had Met his mother. When Howard was young, his father had been contacted by the Air Force and NASA for a top secret project, and he had to make a choice.... Go by himself and leave his family behind or move them onto a top secret facility and he didn’t want Howard to live that kind of life. So instead of telling his mom the truth (we all know she would’ve asked too many questions) he just left.

However he never lost tabs on them..... His father is the one who saved his ass from the Rover Ditch incident.

Its why he was chosen for the space station project.

It’s why the Air Force contacted him immediately following the test run of his gyroscope, his father had been keeping an eye on him the whole time.

1. Reveal Penny’s last name: They could’ve revealed it during his Nobel acceptance speech but not in the way you think.... When Sheldon is thanking everybody and after he says “Penny Hofstadter” he could’ve chimed in with “Who’s maiden name is the same as this Nobel laureate” I think having Penny’s last name being the same as Sheldons is a good way of explaining why they never said it, as he wouldn’t want anyone to think they’re either together, or related.

I know the shows over and none of this means anything, just thought I’d share my thoughts.
