I remember (or think I remember) a scene where Penny becomes completely exasperated with Sheldon and confronts him about his behavior, and then Sheldon explains how he doesn’t mean to be irritating to people but there are a lot of things that just really bother him on a day to day basis and cause him anxiety. He tries to control it as best he can but he knows sometimes it gets on people’s nerves and he feels bad for it. Something along those lines. That scene always stood out because you got a glimpse into Sheldon’s world and how hard things must be for him when the show usually made him out to be a complete jerk. Can anyone point me to that episode or did I just invent that in my mind?
