Strava changed how it records calories?

Did a 45 minutes ride tonight and I expected around 400 calories which is what Strava would normally record for such a thing, but for the first time instead it pulled the calorie count from my Wahoo ELEMNT instead, which is 750.
I’m pretty disappointed by this change because I’ve always found Strava to be pretty accurate and I ignore the silly numbers from every other device. It’d be nice if this was at least an option.
