How do you lower a sleeping baby into a low level cot?

It's not going to be long before she's pulling herself up to stand and I need to lower the crib mattress to the lowest level.
How do I put her down when she's asleep?! I literally can't reach! I'm 4'11'', but I can't imagine it's easy even if you're taller.
Any tips?
