So my daughter will be one in less than a week. I attempted to work from home but that didn't work out so I stayed home with her the first year. At the time I felt that I was the best person to care for her....but now she's getting older and it's time to start learning words and colors and other skills. I don't think I'm the best person to teach her these skills. I'm thinking she would benefit going to daycare at this point. Of course, if she's going to be at daycare I will go to work and make some money. Right now we're living at our means and it would be a little more comfortable financially if I was working. Even though half of my income would go to daycare. The only thing is that finding the time to spend with my daughter, keep my house clean, and cook decent dinners seems impossible if I'm working. Working parents with toddler-aged children, is it worth going to work? Or would you stay home if you could?
