My baby is 'tense'
Post Body

So my 10 month old daughter has been going to a baby gym class for a month now. They have this big soft 'wheel' that they lay the babies on top of and roll it back so the baby's hands can reach the ground and then forward so the baby's feet almost touch. Every other baby just lays back and enjoys the ride. But my daughter does little crunches the whole time. She holds her head up and is very difficult for the coaches. In fact, she's difficult doing any of the exercises. One couch told me she was very tense. I'm not sure how to take that. At the beginning of each class we do warm up exercises. I have to help her stretch her arms and do bicycle legs. All sorts of stuff. She is definitely very stiff, she fights me and won't let me bend her legs. I'll definitely bring this up on her one year appointment with the pediatrician. I just didn't know what to do with this information and came here to see what anyone else thought of it.

Another thing I noticed is that compared to the other babies, mine seems to be the most active. She always just wants to go, and I'm the one mom that's chasing my baby all over the place. I'm starting to feel like I don't have control over my baby. But I mean, she's a baby, I don't know how to make her stay still.
