So how's everyone's weight loss going?
Post Body

I wanted to make a post to r/loseit but I think it qualifies as a introduction post which they don't allow. This sub would understand more, anyway. I just really want to talk about my journey and hear other stories.

I posted on here a few months ago because I was really feeling bad about the weight but was afraid to diet while breastfeeding. And people here introduced me to My Fitness Pal and told me how they were dieting and still breastfeeding successfully. It really helped a lot. I would still be miserable and hopeless if it wasn't for those that commented.

I'm 5'1" and was 147lbs before I got pregnant...but that was the heaviest I had ever been as well. I normally try to stay in the 130s but would yo-yo and get to the low 140s. The highest I weighed while pregnant was 189lbs. I got down to 156lbs about two months ago (about 5 months postpartum). Most of that was just from giving birth. I knew that I wasn't going to lose anymore without working at it.

Thanks to you guys, I started tracking my food. I limited my calories to 1960 a day and started walking more. (I actually do 3 laps around a park near me in the same amount of time it took me to do 1 when I first started.) My goal was to be to at my prepregnancy weight by Thanksgiving. And I got sooo close! I was 147.2lbs on Thanksgiving... 0.2lbs off. I lost around 9 lbs in two months without losing my supply. And at 7 months postpartum, I'm basically at my prepregnancy weight. Overall, I want to lose another 15-20 lbs. I'm hoping to be at a healthy weight by my daughter's 1st birthday. I feel like this can be a forever lifestyle change.

So how's everyone else going? I'm excited learn other people's stories. Maybe I can learn new tips. Maybe I can help other people out. I just really want to talk about this part of my life with people that are in a similar situation.
