Eek! I'm getting a sore throat. How do I keep my baby healthy?
Post Body

My 15 week old woke me up earlier than normal to be nursed so I was really groggy this morning. It wasn't until after I nursed her, changed her, and even kissed her(oh no!) that I noticed my throat was hurting.

So now I'm sanitizing my hands before I pick her up. I normally hold her a lot more, but right now I'm trying to handle her as little as possible. I'm worried that I've already given it to her. I did some research about breastfeeding while sick. And from what I found, it's best to keep nursing her because I'm passing on antibodies for what I have. So if she does catch it, it won't be nearly as bad as I have it because she already has antibodies to fight it.

Ugh! This just really sucks. I like her to get more attention but I'm afraid to be near her. I'm also the only on with her during the day, so it's difficult to limit contact with her. She can only entertain herself for so long.

I'm also not sure what I can take for this. I was told that cold medicines are one of the few things I can't take while breastfeeding because it will dry up my supply. Does anybody have any other tips or experience with this?
