We have an 8 month old and while our flat can be a bit messy in spots from time to time we generally team up to keep it relatively clean and organised.
After 4 days of him being gone this flat is a wreck. The baby is happy, but I genuinely had a brief panic attack looking around at the mess.
I swear if our health visitor dropped by and saw the absolute state of my kitchen she'd take this child off me!
Partner is away Monday to Friday for the next few weeks and we have no family nearby. How on earth do people doing this alone cope??
My house regularly looks like we've been robbed 🤣 I use this mantra to try and ease the guilt.
Dirty dishes prove I feed my family.
Full trash can means I clean up after them.
Messy floors mean I let my child have fun.
Pile of unfolded laundry means I keep my family in clean clothes.
Wet bathroom means my kid took a shower and is clean
End of the day everyone fed no one dead 💗
