We have a wonderful 14 month old who has been pretty tough since birth. She’s not chill whatsoever ever and we’ve realized that more and more when we hang out around other parents with babies. It’s totally fine though, we’ve grown to love this about her!
Anyway, we didn’t dare to fly anywhere with her when she was younger because she was super colicky and it wasn’t worth the stress.
We have a family trip coming up this summer which will require us to fly around 4.5 hours. My husband and I want to do a test run and take a trip somewhere with a short flight (around 2.5 hours) just so we can work out the kinks and see how it goes.
She will not nap anywhere except home. If she’s extremely tired it doesn’t matter, she’ll just fight it and have a meltdown, so napping on the flight isn’t an option. Ms. Rachel always works, but that buys us only 45 mins or so. She also HATES car seats and goes crazy after 20 mins.
If anyone has tips and experience traveling with not so chill babies, please help! 🙂
I was lucky my not chill baby fell asleep on the run way and woke up as we landed lol honestly it's just about distracting them so lots of their toys snacks and wandering around the plane if you're allowed to. If she has a bottle/sippy cup try and make sure she is sucking on it as you take off/ land so her ears don't hurt as much
