Looking for some feedback on possible Hemangioma

Hey there, just want to source a situation we are currently in with our five month old daughter (1.5months premature)

Since shortly after she was born, a soft and squishy lump appeared on her back near her right shoulder, for two months worth of check ups the pediatrician just kept telling us to watch it.

Well 3.5 months comes and it has grown more . (There is no discoloration at all with this lump)

So we are ordered to get an ultra sound. We get that and they say they “think” it might be a very vascular hemangioma. But aren’t sure, so make us wait three weeks to see a pediatric surgeon.

That appointment happened today. This doctor told us the ultra sound was useless essentially and wants to sedate and order an MRI, and offered no hypothesis on what it even could be and just kept saying “I don’t know, it could be anything “

We don’t feel good about having to sedate a five month old for an MRI, and the fact that this has been getting kicked down the road this long and no one seems to have any sort of answer or urgency is making us sick. Obviously we are worried about something malignant and just want to hear that it probably isn’t.

Has anyone else had any vascular , soft squishy lumps on their infants? No discoloration? The more research I do I’m not finding much that looks like what our little girl has.
