Trying to get my EBF to start drinking from something other than the breast. We’ve tried bottles but he’s completely against it. He’ll chew on the nipple and eventually get something out, but he would rather skip feedings than eat from a bottle. So we’ve decided to just go straight to straw cups/sippy cups. He just has no interest in sucking though, he chews on the rubber parts. I want to start sending him to an MDO soon, but if he isn’t going to take any other forms of feeding (he does eat solids, but just “for fun”) I can’t send him. Even when he’s alone with my husband he will just choose not to eat for multiple hours rather than bottle feed.
