When the album title name was revealed, it was met with some controversy within the fanbase, some people quickly picked up on the larger significance in reference to The Carter family, the first family of country music.
I can't find the post, but when that was pointed out, many commented as if it were coincidence. One of the top comments being "does Beyoncé know this?" - not only do I find that laughable, but we know Mrs. Carter is always very intentional with her art. I came across evidence today that even more solidified the intentionality of the album name, as The Carter family (20th century) has a song with a hook that mentions 16 carriages.
I am so excited for this project I believe it will be extremely impactful!
