So since joining as a mod here, I've done a few, minor, cosmetic changes. They are as follows:

Sub changes: "Subscribers" and "people here now" have been changed with "Bexhillians" and "people by the sea"

Note - Apologies if you are not a Bexhilian, but by subscribing here, you are officially and official Bexhillian. Grats.

Link Flair Added: Added "Nostalgia" "Discussion" and "Event" link flair. Which you can assign to your own threads after posting. Will be adding "Questions" "Fluff" and probably a few more. This will help users distinguish between posts.

User Flair: I have added basic colour user flair. You can now edit your flair and type whatever you wish. Within reason. Keep it civilised please. We don't want the facebook group spilling over and infecting us.

New Banner: Yeah I'm still playing with this and trying to make it look right. The picture was done by /u/MANMOXL and was actually found when I looked in the spam box, I think it was auto filtered out of the sub. So that is our current banner.

Cosmetic Things: I have done some basic cosmetics to the main sub so it's a little more appealing.

Still to come: A rules page, rules to abide by, mainly to avoid this place becoming Facebook. More cosmetic stuff, some sidebar boxes, and more.
