Im wondering...what if they made up the script for this scene so we wouldn't really get any solid info on what the phonecall was about? Because to be honest, aside from the fact that we know he was talking to Kim and that she told him to turn himself in, we don't know jack shit.
My reasoning is that well, Assuming the people who translate this stuff get a copy of the script, they would obviously want something like this to be kept secret in case the translators fuck up and make the scene a lot more understandable with the dub than original...which is EXACTLY what happened lol.
Maybe they didn't made it up, but i'd still say they hid away a lot of info on purpose. Because of how little info we have, and how in my opinion it just doesnt make sense for Gene to flip out that much just because "stupid bitch ex-wife told him to turn himself in" . There HAS TO BE something more to this converstion that we don't know, that made Gene go back into scamming people, and to the point where it starts to feel like its more out of spite than anything else.
