According to released info, she is related to someone on the show already (though it’s not obvious as to who), she plays a quirky character that people will love, and according to a Spanish website’s plot description, Gene will use her to try and involve her son in his scheme.

Marion is Pryce’s mom, and we will see how his quirkiness was inherited from his mom during this ep. This will tie into the well believed theory that Pryce is the Danny that Saul wants to help launder $ through the laser tag place.

Nippy Jones was a famous baseball player from the 50s who probably has a pretty valuable baseball card from a collecting standpoint. If we are to believe the description regarding Gene needing to use Marion to get her son’s attention, a valuable baseball card is definitely the way to do that.

This could all tie to the Gene timeline through Ice Station Zebra, if Pryce’s money laundering is funneled into it. We can see in this ep how ISZ was created and if/how it is still operating in the BB/Gene timelines which would allow them to jump around, which seems to be the consensus on this episode’s structure.
