Post Body

Hi guys! I recently came into ownership of a betta fish (as a birthday gift) sadly it is from a big corporation and I was wondering how to help my fish! So here’s the context: I’ve had him for about a week now and everything has been fine. I’ve been feeding him four little fish pellets in the mornings before I leave to work. However something has changed. The past two days he hasn’t been eating and has this white string running from him. Upon some googling I believe he’s... constipated. He’s completely disinterested in food, sinks to the bottom of his tank all of this plus the white string and it seems like this is the issue but now I’m at a loss... what do I do? I’ve read that feeding him peeled boiled peas will help but he’s not interested in food? What should I do?
