Hello everyone, hope you're all doing well. I came back last month after having to go to the hospital and psych ward for a bit (s/ attempt) and hadn't gotten around to cleaning my fish tank properly for the past 2 or so months.

Currently on a new medication regimen for my mental health and finally able to get into deep cleaning my fish tank.

Though I wanted to check if doing a cleaning and scrubbing everything down from the last 2 months will help my Betta start feeling better or if there's anything else I should do after cleaning?? Currently he's not as active as he usually is and doesn't have much of an appetite. He's kind of swimming around sideways but every now and then he does move up to the surface.
