Used to have a betta before online resources were quite so accessible and when it seemed anything better than a tiny pet shop cup was luxury.
Loved my little guy and would love to get a new one. And now we're in the age of AI and profit-driven algorithms, so I want to hear from real people who are passionate about bettas and I want to offer him the best!
What size tank is ideal? What temperature? Do I need a filter? Is there anything a betta can comfortably live with? (I'm keen on shrimps and snails, maybe other fish). Is there an ideal duration/intensity of natural light? Is electric light okay?
I don't mind some reading, so if there's a good, reliable resource out there, let me know!
Edit: Thankfully my post led me to the care sheet. Anything there that needs to be especially emphasized?
