Post Body

hello there,

went on vacation for a week and there was a power outage that messed with my light timer. unfortunately a MASSIVE algae bloom happened in my 20gal cube but my lil professor plum is still thriving thankfully. i put him in a plastic kitchen bowl rn and i plan on changing half the water in it every 8 hrs with some seachem prime. i dont wanna lose him while trying to clean his tank. almost all my plants died as well because the algae took over. should i change the substrate and gravel when i clean out my tank? what about my filter media? i dont want to completely crash the cycle but im so worried of it coming back.
