So, unfortunately I was that person who had no clue how to care for a betta. When I first got him he was really beautiful. His tail was completely fine. Until many months go by and I notice his tail disappearing, I started doing hours of research and educating myself on how to properly care for him. Now I know everything I need to properly house my fish. Bought tons of plants and test kits, medicine for him. I am happy to announce his tail is growing back! He used to float around 24/7 and even stopped eating. Now he swims around a ton and gets super excited for food. I could cry. I know heโs just a fish, but heโs MY fish .
