Healthy weight?

Hello!
My kids got a betta in December. Of course, it came in a 1/2 gallon bowl.
After weeks of reading this sub I think Spike is on his/her (not sure how to tell) to a good life.
Setup:
5 gallon tank
Temp 78F
Filtered
Water parameters are good
Silk plants
Catappa leaf
25% water change weekly.
Feeding it 2-3 betta pellets in the morning and at night.
The info I’ve read about feeding seems to be all over the place. Does my fish look to be at a healthy weight?
