Hey, I have a weird situation. I lived in my friends (who is also a landlady) apartment, I got Anmeldung, put my name on a ringer and a post box. But in March we started not to get along very well and I moved out in May with my boyfriend to another WG, but the thing is that it’s impossible to get Anmeldung from a landlord here, because initially he wants to kick everyone out so he can start doing social flats for homeless people, but he can’t kick us yet until one of our roommate moves out, because she has her name in the contract which is without a deadline. My problem is that I found out that my “friend” from previous flat removed my name from the ringer and post box at the beginning of June. When I moved out she said that she will leave my name for some time. But I didn’t expect her to do it so fast. She assured me that I’m still registered to her flat and it’s still in the system and I’m still legally registered with her and the name on the ringer and mail box is not important. My question: could I be in trouble if I’m still registered, but don’t have my name on a ringer and post box? Sometimes I have anxious thoughts what if I get a mail from serious government institutions with important info or a fine and they can’t reach me and start some sort of procedure on me, because they can’t find me.
