Taking CS61C before CS61B

Post Body

Hello there! I am currently a Mechanical Engineering freshman planning on transferring to EECS this next fall 2023 semester. Currently, I have to complete 2 EECS courses (since I have completed 2 semesters at Berkeley), so I plan on taking EECS 16A CS61_ over the summer. I have also taken E7, which can count for CS61A when I am in the major but will not count for the 2 courses I need to officially transfer. I was wondering what the recommendation is on taking CS61C before CS61B since B is currently full. I have heard that you do not need much knowledge from B for C, and vice versa.

Any recommendations?
