europe timezone still have global after update

So I have a friend from Germany who also got the new pins update. He was able to acess global but me who is from Canada and the America's timezone, global was completely cut off from my feed even though we had the same updat and everything. I'm disappointed as the reason I love bereal was being able to react to bereals of people around the world. Why take this feature away??
