I am battling through, my benzo withdrawal recovery. My Drs assisted with my withdrawal by a tapper down with Valium and a ketamine infusion. It’s still been hella way rough, difficult.
I have been free of Xanax and Valium plus others for about 1 month. I’m still shaking, wobbly and feel like crap. My hands aren’t steady.
Unfortunately today I have to attend and speak at a family member’s funeral. He passed away under tragic circumstances. Due to this several family members are refusing to attend. I feel for his mother who will be enduring all of this.
So does anyone know if a 0.25 of Xanax or 2.5 Valium or oxepam low dose set my recovery back. I psychically dependant, I’m not going to take more, after this.
I just don’t today need to look like a piece of crap when being supportive of others.
This is event is triggering for myself I know the pain of child loss. I’m not going to use that as an excuse for taking more medication to numb my pain. It didn’t work..
Can anyone shed some light on prolonged withdrawal sickness ?
Many thanks from Frances 🙂
