Diazepam taper too slow?
Post Body

I’ve been on every benzo they script for a combo a anxiety panic attacks and throw in muscle spasms so benzos checked all the boxes….fast forward 15 years, been on them basically as prescribed for the last 10 yrs, started my taper at 40mgs diazepam, doing the Ashton method, but going even slower now than I’m down to 9mgs. I waited almost 3/4 months when I dropped from 10-9mgs. Is that too long to jump in between doses? My doc has no problem with the time schedule as long as I’m constantly taking the same amount every day. Also take adderall for adhd and have medical marijuana but not great quality as I’m in Iowa. Just looking for others who tapered off benzos after 10 yrs regular dr prescribed usage. Any tips would help. I use a lot of mmj and also vape nicotine. 33yr old male. If that makes a difference. Just decide to go to 8mg tonight after I looked at the calendar and it’s been about 4 months and I’m not noticing any real symptoms aside from being just foggy headed, and it takes me a lot of self motivation to do things I want to do. 🤷🏻‍♂️ figure I’d post after 👀 the whole time I’ve been titrating…
