The UK think they are the kings of the world with their healthcare system, but it's falling apart. My GPs refuse to treat me even though yesterday I was nearly fainting, and they wouldn't do anything because I was prescribed abroad. I phoned the out of hours doctor, and he wouldn't do anything. I need to taper off this $hit. But in order to do this, I need to actually get the medication. They'll happily help people come off heroin and all sorts of legal drugs, but just let you die from benzos. They won't help me unless an NHS psychiatrist approves me receiving benzos 🤦 and it takes years to get a f'ing appointment. I didn't sleep the night before last and I'm so exhausted. Exhausted from benzo withdrawal, but more so because of all the running around I have to do. I don't want to kill myself, but I'd rather die than live like this every day.
