Post Body

The last 7 days has seen me completely burnt out, I’ve been sleeping nearly 12-16 hours per day after going abroad to Thailand and binging on benzos (mainly Xanax and occasional Valium)? I’ve been mainly using Kratom and rest to get through this icky period, the last 24 hours has seen a surge of shitty symptoms such as muscle stiffness, I am struggling with talking, I feel suicidal (I know that this is temporary and part of the withdrawals, but it’s bad), and overall, I feel like a failure and just down overall. I know all of this is temporary, so I keep myself going, but is all of this normal and part of the recovery process? I’m honestly considering going to rehab or a hospital because I’m about 8 days into a cold turkey and it occasionally becomes too much.

I’ve read that withdrawals lead to insomnia, but I’ve been the opposite, I’ve been experiencing mostly fatigue, depression, and just feeling like something is “off”. Im trying to go through this before I even consider quitting opiates, I need encouragement and advice. Any supplements anyone recommends? Would it even be worth going to rehab after being 8 (going on 9) days into my cold turkey?
