So a little background, I spent about 2.5 years heavily addicted to xanax. My tolerance got to upwards of 40mg a day to get my desired effects, in fact one wild day while barred out i ate 120 1mg football's. I ended up getting off them through rehab and have abstained for the most part but I do occasionally partake. My main question is why does it take me 6mg of alp to get the effects 2mg gave me since I spent over a year completely benzo free and I use them roughly once a month for the past 2 months.
Tl;dr could I have permanently raised my tolerance to alp by abusing high doses for years
