Interested How many people self medicate?

The reason I ask is because of the health service is fucked and there seems to be little to no help for people who struggle with mental health, oh it was physical no problems.
I am from Northern Ireland and we are part of the NHS and wow what a fucked up locked down service this actually is, with someone who battles anxiety and depression, Antidepressants aren't always the cure ( for me at least )
Sorry for venting just very frustrated.
