Mom lowered her xanax script dose and is currently going through some pretty bad withdrawals, what can she do for it to get the least bit smoother?

She went from around 3mg a day (fucking crazy her doctor’s dose was 1,5mg he flipped when he heard it as he should) and now she’s down to 1mg but is currently in the “settling period” of the new dosage ( day 5) and u can imagine how wrecked she is for absolutely no external reason as of now. It honestly pains me like hell to see her like this and in all my supposed “drug knowledge” i can’t do shit to make her feel at least a lil bit better or make this remaining week/weeks be easier on her. Any experience, info or advice will be extremely appreciated.
